Trans-Identifying Man Assaults Woman
The Story: Vancouver police have arrested a 26-year-old man who identifies as a woman after he assaulted a breastfeeding mother and her 4-month-old baby. The man, who has a history of posting videos of himself talking about his estrogen fixation—including one video in which he states, “I hate women. They don’t take enough estrogen”—approached a vehicle occupied by the woman, her baby, and her husband, and attempted to remove both the woman and her baby from the vehicle. The man was soon arrested by police, who referred to the suspect as “she” in a public statement.
The Significance: The detrimental effects of the transgender movement on women’s sports and women’s-only spaces are well-documented. There is, however, a more insidious cultural effect: the idea that a woman is merely the sum of the hormones in her body; and that a man can outdo her created goodness by injecting himself with estrogen. This is contrary to the truth of Scripture—that God chose to create women as women and has endowed them innate value not on the basis of their estrogen levels but on the sole basis of the image they bear. Thus, no man can replicate that created goodness by dressing up as a woman. Just as no woman can replicate the created goodness of a man by dressing up accordingly.

No Graves Discovered at Site of Kamloops Residential School
The Story: After nearly $8 million intended to confirm the alleged mass graves at the site of a former residential school in Kamloops has been spent, no bodies have been recovered or confirmed.
The Department of Crown-Indigenous Relations had set aside $7.9 million for the search, yet the department says they can’t confirm what the money was spent on. Despite the 2021 allegations that a mass grave had been discovered, leading to hundreds of millions of dollars designated for the “Residential Schools Missing Children Community Support Fund,” no bodies or further evidence of actual graves have been found and it is not clear if any excavations have taken place.
The Significance: To anyone who remembers the furor around the original report on the mass graves, it is hard to believe where this story is now. During the Covid-19 lockdowns, tqhis story was reported as an uncovered tragedy of the most despicable origins. The bodies of dead children had reportedly been found.
Nearly three years later, however, it turns out that no bodies have actually been found. In fact, other subsequent sites of alleged mass graves have been confirmed to not actually exist at all. At first, some expressed concern that the money was simply not being utilized in order to avoid confirmation that the initial report had been wrong.
Now, however, it appears that the money has indeed been allocated for various efforts but nobody will say how it was spent. This raises an even more damning question: are the people behind this search using the imagery of children dying in residential schools as nothing more than a facade for financial grift?
In this instance one ends up hoping that the millions of dollars that have disappeared have done so through simple incompetence. Otherwise this is another tale of using indigenous Canadians as political pawns for social clout and political gain.

Canadian-Israeli Girl Told to Stay Inside After Public Attack
The Story: A New Brunswick high school has asked a teenage girl to remain inside to avoid getting beat-up by antisemitic classmates. The 14-year-old Israeli girl who lives with her family was violently attacked by an older Muslim student at her New Brunswick high school. Other students stood around and filmed the assault, but none intervened. An online video of the incident shows that at least one adult eventually showed up but can be seen instantly accusing the Israeli teen of starting the fight. It is unclear from the video if the adult is a teacher. The girl’s family says she has been the victim of months of bullying for being Israeli.
The School has suspended the attacker for one week. Instead of ensuring the student’s safety, however, the School told her to stay inside between classes, to never walk alone, and to use the teachers private bathroom
The Significance: This failure of leadership on behalf of a New Brunswick High School is just one of many stories that show school and political officials’ unwillingness to confront the antisemitic mobs that are now shockingly prevalent in Canada. In Toronto, a young boy was escorted to school on Friday by hundreds of neighbors after he repeatedly had stones thrown at him for being Jewish.
Meanwhile, multiple mayors in Canada, including Toronto’s Olivia Chow, declined to be present for the raising of the Israeli flag on Israeli Independence Day on Tuesday. Chow called the flag itself “divisive.” Ottawa’s ceremony was initially canceled, but rescheduled after backlash. However, the ceremony was still carried out surrounded by pro-Palestine and pro-Hamas protesters chanting hateful slogans at the attendees.
In Montreal on Friday, two pro-Israeli demonstrators were threatened and then removed by police after they tried to engage with the pro-Palestininan encampment at McGill University.
From hiding students, to hiding from flag raisings, to the failure to address university encampments and their less than peaceful protesters, it would seem that political and school officials have a shared viewpoint on the growing antisemitism in Canada. They are fully aware it’s a problem, and they seem to be wondering if it would all just go away – if only Jews would just stop being seen in public.

Fishermen Receive No Compensation After Government-Forced Fishery Closures
The Story: Over a thousand Maritime fishermen put out of work by the Federal Government will not receive compensation.
Minister of Fisheries Dianne Lebouthillier shut down the Elver fishery only 6 weeks before it was set to open, leaving 1,100 workers without a job and, due to her refusal to label it a conservation matter, largely ineligible for EI.
Found in Maritime rivers, elvers (young eels) are the most valuable fisheries export in Canada. Their high price—reaching as much as $5,000 per kilogram—has caused a dramatic increase in poaching and new fishing right claims by First Nations bands. Consistently poor policing and poaching enforcement by the federal Fisheries Ministry, together with a refusal to address overfishing by Indigenous communities, has resulted in elvers becoming an endangered species and caused the fishery to close in three of the last five years.
The Significance: Environmental conservation is a reasonable objective for governmental authority, allowing enforcement against those who truly exploit God’s creation. However, this authority is accompanied by a great deal of responsibility, as people’s livelihoods hang in the balance. With respect to this responsibility, Minister Lebouthillier has failed.
The crisis that led to the closure of the fishery was caused by years of mismanagement – and a lack of political courage in not addressing Indigenous overfishing. This failure has caused the livelihoods of 1,000 people to disappear overnight, and yet the Minister has repeatedly refused to either provide the policing necessary to protect the dignity of work, or even justly compensate the fishermen for the closure.
As the Scriptures say, “Behold, the wages of the laborers who mowed your fields, which you kept back by fraud, are crying out against you, and the cries of the harvesters have reached the ears of the Lord of hosts” (James 5:4)

MP uncovers Emergencies Act lie: According to information uncovered by MP Arnold Viersen, the Liberal government invoked the Emergencies Act prior to confirming its legality. The Liberals justified invoking the Act against the Freedom Convoy by claiming that they received secret legal opinions that it was necessary—a claim that the Commission on the Emergencies Act took seriously enough to impact the final ruling.
However, Viersen’s Access to Information Request proves the government lied. The dossier sent to the Prime Minister was dated February 15, 2022, one day after the Act was invoked. This revelation shows the Liberals’ disdain for democratic accountability and decimates their arguments for the necessity of the Emergencies Act.

Canadian birth, marriage rates reach all-time low: A new study from the McDonald-Laurier Institute has found that Canada’s marriage rate for adults aged 20 and over has dropped from 54% in 2001 to 47.4% in 2021. Similarly, the birth rate has dropped to just 1.33 children per woman, far below the replacement level. These numbers show the accelerated decline of the nuclear family in Canada, a decline that will not continue without deep consequences to the nation.
